Local Area Guide: Things to do / Activities / Attractions
Red Lodge is a small town nestled at the foot of the Beartooth Mountain Range. With a population of around 3000, Red Lodge has retained that small town Western spirit. Friendly people, curious characters and interesting locals surround visitors with a truly welcoming feeling as well as a wealth of unique Western history. Stroll our historic downtown where the Sundance Kid and the Hole in the Wall Gang attempted to rob our local bank and then visit The Peaks to Prairie Museum to learn all about it. Take the kids to The Beartooth Nature Center to learn about area wildlife and finish it off with a trip to The Montana Candy Emporium. Don’t forget to check out our galleries and shops for undiscovered treasures and mementos of your Montana experience and then try some fine dining or just whoop it up at a local watering hole.
